As Time Goes By...

February 26, 2021

As a kid I always loved the game clue, so it's no surprise that I am loving Disney's Secrets of Sulphur Springs. It's like a longer version of my favorite game with new clues revealed every episode. Who, What, Where... you have to watch every Friday at 8pm on the Disney Channel to find out and try to solve the mystery. The only hard part is trying to wait for the new episode each week when you just want more clues now!

Well I've got some exciting news for you! Starting today, Friday February 26th, you can now watch Secrets of Sulphur Springs on Disney+. Binge watch now so you are ready for the final episodes in this season. I know my boys and I will be rewatching the episodes to look for any little clues we might have missed along the way.

This week for our early screening we received a double dose of surprises. A delicious package from Jon & Vinny's with all the ingredients we needed to make our own pizza. And a special box from Disney Plus to celebrate the announcement of Secrets of Sulphur Springs coming to Disney+

Can you tell what the boys' favorite part of making pizza was? 😆 It was so entertaining watching them try to throw their dough in the air and catch it. And Ledger's reaction watching them was too cute.

Delicious pizza and cookies in Disney+ gear was a fun way to watch our early screening of this weeks exciting episode. I swear this show gets better and better with every episode. Each time we are on the edge of our seats and now we are about to fall off our chairs in anticipation of what will happen next! We need answers ASAP because we have a lot of theories in our house about how this mystery will be solved... or if it will ever be solved?! Will we find out who wrote STAY on the mirror in the last episode? How was Griffin's dad involved in Savannah's disappearance? Will anyone else find the portal? So many questions... Share with us your questions or theories about the show in the comments. We would love to know!

Coming up this week...

Episode 9 "As Time Goes By". Watch it today on Disney Channel at 8pm or on DisneyNOW. The search for Savannah continues. Will they find the portal??? Are there really ghosts in The Tremont???

I'll just tell you this... I had CHILLS very early on and the intensity continued throughout the entire episode. I can't wait to hear what you all think of it.

Enjoy the new episode and we will see you next week for more fun!

February 19, 2021

Love is always the SECRET ingredient!

Welcome Back and OMG Get Ready!!! This weeks new episode of Secrets of Sulphur Springs is going to leave you speechless like it did for me and my boys. 😉 Disneys Secrets of Sulphur Springs is something my boys and I look forward to watching together every week. This show is full of mystery, clues, surprises and you guessed it... SECRETS! Each week we anxiously wait to see what clues we will get and what secrets will be exposed. The characters in this show are so great at pulling you in, making you feel all these different emotions and leaving you wanting more. The suspense is real! Each episode leaves us with chills and this weeks episode is guaranteed to do that again.

Episode 8 "If I Could Turn Back Time" airs tonight at 8pm on the Disney Channel. You can also catch up on episodes with DisneyNOW. In this episode, Griffin and Harper realize that Savannah could have found the portal and travelled back in time too. Together they go back in time another 30 years to 1960. What do you think they will find? I won't give away any spoilers, but trust me when I say this is a can't miss episode!

Before we watched the sneak peek, we made some delicious beignets to enjoy during the show. We had a lot of laughs and made a big mess trying to make beignets for the first time. Our beignets turned out good despite us not having the right tools and no idea what we were doing. Lol. We are definitely not chefs in this house... but if we keep trying and learning, then we will get there one day. 😉 If you want to see how our little cooking adventure was, be sure to watch our YouTube video showing you all the crazy shenanigans that happened in our kitchen.

February 12, 2021

Guess What??? A new episode of Secrets of Sulphur Springs is coming your way... and it is so good! Get ready for episode 7 in this exciting, mysterious, time-traveling adventure that keeps you guessing every step of the way.

This week we enjoyed another special sneak peek of the newest episode of Secrets of Sulphur Springs. It is our new family favorite and each week we countdown to watching the new episode together with a delicious treat. Pie anyone?!! Well how about Tiny Pies! We were sent 4 pies from Tiny Pies and the flavors were Dutchy's Apple, Tart Cherry, Sweet Texas Pecan and Texas Two Step. They were so tasty and my little guy Ledger kept trying to steal them,  so I had to snap my pictures really fast before he devoured them all.

A little background on the show:

Set in the fiction Louisiana town of Sulphur Springs, the series follows 12-year-old Griffin Campbell whose world has been upended by his father, Ben. Ben has moved the family from Chicago to take ownership of an abandoned hotel property, The Tremont. The Campbell family, which also includes Griffin's mother, Sarah, and his younger twin siblings Wyatt and Zoey, moves into the Tremont in hopes of restoring the lively vacation destination it once was. On his first day at his new school, Griffin hears that the hotel is haunted by the ghost of Savannah, a girl who disappeared decades ago. He soon meets and befriends Harper, a thrill-seeking classmate, and soon they discover a secret portal that allows them to travel back in time and uncover clues about the town mystery.

I DARE YOU TO WATCH!

February 4, 2021

Disney Channel's new show Secrets of Sulphur Springs is a hit with parents and kids alike. My boys are 6, 9 and 11 years old and this almost 40 year old mom loves the show just as much as they do. This week's all new episode "Time Warped" will premiere this Friday, February 5th at 8:00pm ET/PT on Disney Channel.

Every week we are waiting in anticipation for the new episode. We enjoyed some delicious treats thanks to @DisneyChannelPR and @KristinCruz. We were on the edge of our seats trying to pay attention to all the little clues and see if we can solve the mystery of Savannah's disappearance. This show is mysterious with music that intensifies each dramatic moment. It is spooky in a good way and the rivalries are intriguing.

Quotes from my boys after watching the show:
"This is EPIC! I love it because it's mysterious and I want to know more."
 - Linkin, 9 years old
"This is so cool. I can't believe they are going back in time. I hope they can solve the mystery." - Landon, 11 years old.

Series Synopsis:

Set in the fictional Louisiana town of Sulphur Springs, the series follows 12-year-old Griffin Campbell (Preston Oliver, "Chicago Fire") whose world has been upended by his father, Ben (Josh Braaten, "American Horror Story"). Ben has moved the family from Chicago to take ownership of an abandoned hotel property, The Tremont. The Campbell family, which also includes Griffin's mother, Sarah (Kelly Frye, "Criminal Minds"), and his younger twin siblings, Wyatt (Landon Gordon, "Coop & Cami Ask the World") and Zoey (Madeleine McGraw, "Outcast"), moves into The Tremont in hopes of restoring it to the lively vacation destination it once was. On his first day at his new school, Griffin hears rumors that the hotel is haunted by the ghost of Savannah (Elle Graham, "Swamp Thing"), a girl who disappeared decades ago. He soon meets and befriends Harper (Kyliegh Curran, "Doctor Sleep"), a thrill-seeking classmate, and soon they discover a secret portal that allows them to travel back in time and uncover clues about the town mystery.

Who knows who? Will secrets will be revealed? Who is the mysterious shadow in the window? So many questions unanswered and you won't find out unless you tune in to watch. Leave a comment below and let me know what you think about Disney's first ever time travel mystery show.
